Both of those dates could be correct. Anet did say spring or Q1. But they did not release any special dates so wait for the date from the horse's mouth.

if / when they actually release "pre-order" boxes (like from the start of ch.1 w/ the ingame items), then I will start getting excited about release dates.

but again, game releases do come in late, it's a norm.

a PVE event would be quite nice.

I am positive the dates are all speculation, but I would definitely crap myself if it was the 29th of April. That's my birthday!

Meh, I don't think they'll have a PvE weekend. Correct me if I'm wrong but they only had PvP betas for the original GW.

Ok, correction then:
The entire game was playable during the weekend BWE's, up to the points that had been implemented thus far. Before UAS, you had to play PvE to unlock your PvP skills. Can you imagine pre-faction, if the only PvP was between people with no unlocked skills? And the templates weren't available until towards the release either (Or upon the release, don't remember).

Omg....plz dont remind me of the "pre-factions" days. The days be4 factions was created were hell. I remember when i bought a 20/20 +5 energy +30 Health Healing staff, and had to keep switching it between different characters that i re-rolled. I also tried to buy every un-ided mod in the game just so i can unlock it for tombs....pure hell. So much money down the drain.
